Two pins key into the support and the collar clamps the steerer, so the support turns with the stem and nothing else.
Overview
The Fauna Kitty Collar is an anti-rotation collar for the Handlebar Bag Support. It clamps to the steerer and keys into the support with two stainless pins, so the support can’t rotate or shift under load.
Headset preload and the stem clamp are enough to hold the support on most bikes. The collar is for heavy bags, rough terrain, or anyone who’d rather not think about it. It comes with every Fauna Cargo Cradle and is sold separately as an upgrade for the Handlebar Bag Support.

Compatibility
Section titled “Compatibility”The collar only works together with a Fauna Handlebar Bag Support or Cargo Cradle. Beyond that, your bike needs:
- A threadless 1-1/8” steerer. Tapered steerers are fine, since they’re 1-1/8” where the stem clamps.
- 8 mm of spacers you can remove, on top of the 5 mm the support replaces. If you’re fitting both at once, that’s 13 mm in total.
